THE UNIVERSE

This picture is what the universe looks like. Those dots that look like stars are actually GALAXIES. Yes GALAXIES. Which contain BILLIONS if not TRILLIONS of stars. There are TRILLIONS OF GALAXIES as well. The universe was once the size of an atom, it was infinite. However it suddenly expanded tremendously, and it still expands today. Under the right circumstances life was made on Earth. Now you may think the Earth is big, well it is to us obviously. Let me show in pictures how "big" we really are.

Still think we are the only life despite the size of our planet? Scientists have FOUND, yes FOUND, what they call "superearths". Planets that support life a few solar systems away. But guess what, those superearths are planets that may have water and oxygen, but thats not all. Extraterrestrial life could evolve to suit a DIFFERENT ecosystem. They could possibly not NEED water or oxygen! Now, the universe is OLD. Trillions of years old. If you put the time of the earth on a 12 hour scale, humans would have been on for only 1.1 second at most. And look at the technology we have. Now imagine, a planet possibly in this galaxy or others which contains intelligent life. This life has lived for as long as the big bang, or just a little bit longer than us. Imagine, I know it is hard, the technology no THE KNOWLEDGE the life would have. A common backlash to the theory of intelligent extraterrestrial life is, why we didn't make contact yet. Our galaxy is young. Intelligent extraterrestrial life may be just a little bit or as advanced as us. But OTHER galaxies..... I don't even need to explain. Possibly the other intelligent life could be seen as a GOD to us!!!!!!!!!!!! They would be divine! We probably couldn't even comprehend their EXISTENCE! However could these "divine beings" be so smart they will not interfere with primitive races such as ourselves? The theories, and maybe even FACTS, are ENDLESS! Not too mention other great theories about the universe! Could it be SENTIENT? Could there be a universal conscience as old and wise as the universe itself? Could there be sentient life mentioned the sentence before this one that could be considered the GUARDIAN or a job to make sure everything is right??????????? It could go on an on!!!! Yet people worry about how much their car costs or when their going to retire. Eh, I don't blame em. It'll take billions of years for mankind to even make contact most likely. Ah well.

I AGREE 100 PERCENT WITH THIS POST TO SAY WE ARE THE ONLY ONES HERE IS SO INWARD THINKING ITS NOT FUNNY! YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF ASTRO PHYSICS WAS QUITE A SURPRISE AND QUITE A PLEASANT ONE I MIGHT ADD. ALLOT IN RESEARCH IS BEING DONE IE: CERN IT IS COMING ON LINE SOON! TO FIND THE KEYS TO ALLOT OF QUESTIONS WE MUST GO WAY OUT SIDE THE BOX AND WE MUST THINK SMALL. WITH CERN COMING ON LINE IT IS OF DR. HAWKING'S THEORY WE MAY BE ON THE ROAD TO DEVELOPMENT OF ANTIMATTER AND ANTIMATTER PROPULSION THIS WILL FINALLY ENABLE US TO REACH BEYOND OUR SMALL PARSEC OF THIS SMALL GALAXY.
