Well I just bought the new one and either one is good but its up to the individual person I have the old eliet and have no issues with it at all. But here's the thing I don't leave mine on all the time but when I due I still don't have issues with it. So that tells me those people had either a bad shipment or didn't take care of there xbox. Secondly did you know how many xbox's been brought in to circulation before the latist edition?
Four and this is why. The marketures and custemures both intisipated the re lease of the xbox 360 so they scaled it back which caused the issues what we all know about.
That was the first two by seriel numbers
Which had over heating, and death ring or the ring with the break in it. The third one was scaled down in other ways.
By different chips, fans, and a smaller exturnal hard drive
Which caused the sistem to run somethly and had no issues of the mentioned problems.
The fourth one was the eliet 360 that had the 250 gb hd
Which still runs effisently and smoothly but a natch slower than the third xbox.
Now lastly the new xbox kinect
There are three differnt ones
The basic 199 price
The 299
And the 399price
Each one has differnt
Hdrives and chip and other diiferances
U can get the 199 one and then get the hd upgrade 250
Plus it has all the. Things that other systems have
But the idea of the xbox is for online gaming
And that what u pay 4 is what ur getting
No other system can hold up to the online play that xbox provides bar none.
